NEXT Careers is the primary hiring platform for one of the UK's largest retailers, advertising 500+ live roles. I was front-end lead on the build — architecting the platform from scratch, building the majority of the front end single-handedly, and onboarding and training a developer new to both Payload CMS and component libraries.

Etihad Careers
This is the careers site for one of the world's leading airlines. The second major build on the platform I architected for NEXT — proving the system could support a full new brand with its own custom components and visual identity. I led a team of three developers through architecture, code reviews, and delivery — including some complex animation work — collaborating with a wider cross-functional team throughout.

Victoria's Secret Careers
A dedicated careers site for Victoria's Secret UK & Ireland, operated by NEXT. Built as a tenant on the platform I architected for NEXT Careers — a distinct brand with its own identity, content, and job feeds, running on shared architecture rather than a forked codebase. The clearest proof that the multi-tenant model holds up in production.

My Story
About
Lead front-end engineer with 7+ years' experience building large-scale websites and digital platforms for global brands. Promoted twice in three years at Wiser, where I'm front-end lead for WiserSite — our in-house SaaS platform for building enterprise careers websites — taken from initial concept through to production.
I work primarily with React, Next.js, and TypeScript, owning the front-end architecture, the shared component library, and the Payload CMS integration that underpin the platform. It now powers enterprise builds for NEXT, Etihad, and H&H, with further platforms in development — NEXT Careers was shortlisted for Best Recruitment Website at the Recruitment Marketing Awards.
More recently I've moved further into leading delivery — line managing and mentoring engineers, leading technical hiring and code reviews, and setting front-end standards across accessibility, performance, and build quality. I also lead technical SEO and AI discoverability work, and introduced AI-assisted workflows for component development and code review. Outside of work I compete in showjumping at national level, run marathons, and paint — and I'm currently building Equibook, a booking platform for equestrian facilities, as a solo side project.
