Video ring
Nike films circle the Swoosh. Hover one to bring it forward; drag to spin.
Not client work. Made from clips of Nike’s own films on nike.com, and its Swoosh. Official assets from Nike would make it more polished.
- How
- Twelve clips laid on a ring and turned each frame. A drag spins it; a flick carries on. It doesn't follow the scroll.
- Weight
- Each clip is a 3½-second silent loop of about 170 KB, 2.1 MB in all. On hover, only the 92 KB of first frames load until you pick one.
- After
- cipher.tv (opens in a new tab), whose clips stream from Vimeo. Direct Vimeo file links drop straight in here too.
